Who we are
As early as 1940, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated had begun to realize the importance of the prestige, good will, unity, and cooperation of women who for various reasons were not members of any Greek-letter organizations.
These women were organized into auxiliaries, but it wasn't until 1948 when Grand President, Lullelia Harrison included in her report to the 1948 Boule' in session, a recommendation that chapters be allowed to organize auxiliaries and all such auxiliaries be known as Zeta "Amicae" (Friends of Zeta).
Zeta Amicae are women who do not have a college degree; however, they desire an interest in serving their community and being part of a sisterhood under the leadership of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Zeta Amicae of Las Vegas is an auxiliary or subsidiary organized group of friends of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Theta Omicron Zeta chapter. Chartered on June 27, 2018, the primary function and purpose of Zeta Amicae is to assist Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. activities.
We plan, organize, and participate in social/ community service events and projects that support the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
